Attorney, Mediator and Counselor at Law
Attorney Trizia G. Eavenson is founder Eavenson Law, LLC. Eavenson Law is a unique law firm, providing personalized, exceptional litigation and legal counseling assistance, both in person and in digital format (Skype, FaceTime and conference calls to name a few), as well as top quality, niche market Mediation services. She was previously a founding partner of Moore Eavenson Baughan, PLC.
Trizia is proudly Puerto Rican and Italian; her mother hailing from Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and her father arriving from Trani, Italy, both at the age of 11. She was born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Italy, Puerto Rico and Tampa, Florida. Growing up in Europe and Puerto Rico, coupled with traveling the world, forged her enormous sense of gratitude for the United States, its Constitution and the incredible rights bestowed upon its citizens and non-citizens. Her extensive life experiences also developed her love and passion of law, justice and teaching. She grew up speaking, writing and reading English, Italian and Spanish as her first languages. Mrs. Eavenson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of South Florida and proudly earned a Juris Doctor degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law, cum laude. Trizia was crowned Ms. Tampa in 1997 on the platform of legal advocacy of abused and neglected children. A firm believer in a strong work ethic, she has worked in the legal field since 1993, starting from the bottom up, beginning as a "temp" by answering phones at a bi-lingual law firm and cleaning toilets to becoming a paralegal and still continuing to work as she attended law school in the evening program. Trizia has been a certified Guardian ad Litem since 1993.
A passionate trial attorney, Trizia's practice encompasses multiple areas of civil litigation, including, but not limited to, catastrophic personal injury; medical malpractice; corporate and business law; defective medical devices; real property; property exemptions, tax and valuations; local government and administrative law; premise liability; contracts; products liability; animal law; construction law, Veterans law and wrongful death.
As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator, Trizia mediates throughout the State of Florida. Her cultural competence and extensive experience allows her to assist parties in crafting their own resolutions on their own terms - a gift never provided by a judge or jury.
Trizia has been recognized, featured and seen advocating for her clients on numerous national and international mediums.

Over the last five years, Trizia has developed an exciting program, "Be The Diamond," to match those in need of mentorship and realization of their self-worth with "real talks," "pay-it-forward" fashion and enhancing skill sets in order to propel mentees to the superhero status they already are, however, may not yet appreciate due to adversity. "Be The Diamond" works directly with youth of all ages to help find their "YES" in life. Trizia is a firm believer in polishing yourself up so you can shine and that pressure either crushes you or makes you a diamond. She works with students in elementary, middle school, high school and college to enhance their self-esteem through leadership mentoring. She focuses on the "4 P's" - Passion, Perseverance, Perspiration/pain and Preparation - as well as themes of never giving up, resisting the casualization and disconnection that is so prevalent in our culture, avoiding excuses, self-responsibility, career advice, how to dress appropriately for life's adventures and how best find one's strong suit in life. Trizia has personally donated thousands of hours and dollars' worth of clothing and shoes to young women in need while unearthing their finesse and building their confidence.

Before sitting for the Florida Bar, Trizia was a Certified Legal Intern for the Brevard County State Attorney's Office where she tried cases before juries to verdict for the State and sharpened and polished her trial skills. While at the State Attorney's Office, Trizia was honored to work closely on the high profile "Ella" animal cruelty case, the white German Shepherd left to die in a crate in her home by her owner. Trizia drafted the in-depth Memorandum of Law in Opposition to the Motion to Suppress Evidence, citing the exigent circumstances which allowed the police to enter the owner's home without a warrant. The trial judge sided with the State and denied Ella's owner's Motion to Suppress. On appeal, the high Court agreed with the trial judge's decision, which included the judge's reliance on the Memorandum of Law and case law cited by Trizia. While at Florida A&M University College of Law, Trizia gained immense legal knowledge as a Judicial Law Clerk for numerous prestigious Orange County judges, including now Fifth District Court of Appeals Justice, The Honorable Jay Cohen. Mrs. Eavenson was a founding member and President of the Federalist Society, a Moot Court Competitor and Executive Board Member and Representative of the Hispanic American Law Student Association (HALSA). She also received the highest grade in her class for Trial Practice, Insurance Law and Eminent Domain. She returns to her law school each semester as a guest professor to teach trial advocacy and civility.
Throughout her life, Trizia has faced, and continues to tackle, numerous health challenges that would normally prevent one from achieving her or his goals. However, the adversity and speed bumps those issues bring forth simply fortifies Trizia's resolve, strengthens her empathy and compassion as well as intensifies her passion for life and service to others. This eternally passionate fashionista is determined to effectuate positive change and treats others with respect in our one-world community. The children she mentors are close to her heart and part of the tapestry of our beautiful country's landscape. Trizia's clients become members of her family and tribe. Passion in law and for life, personal connections and perseverance are truly the tenants by which Trizia lives.

"Recently my elderly parents were involved in a catastrophic auto accident and were in need of a skilled attorney. I did not hesitate to recommend Attorney Trizia Eavenson. My parents were both severely injured and extremely out of sorts but Trizia met with them immediately and made a horrible situation better with her calming personality. When first meeting Trizia, my parents immediately knew that they had made the right decision. Trizia was always available to them, whether it was by phone or by making a personal visit to them two hours away. My mother pointed out that Trizia is quite different than most attorneys with her caring and concerned demeanor. Trizia put any and all of their legal questions to rest. My parents were so extremely satisfied with her legal knowledge and professionalism that they used her again for another legal matter. I would not hesitate to recommend Attorney Trizia G. Eavenson for any legal situation. You will definitely be in good hands."

She makes herself readily available and responds immediately to all my queries. Trizia is friendly, attentive, intelligent, multi lingual and with her wide range of expertise always gets to the core of the issue. If she doesn't have an answer to my problem she will find someone that does. She's never failed me. I've had nothing but good results from her and she's been there for me rain or shine. I will always be a loyal client and when someone needs legal help she's the first one I recommend."

"As the owner of a large business I would like to say that I very rarely meet and do business with someone as qualified in their field as Trizia. She is not only professional and pleasant to deal with she is one of the top in her field of representing her clients. I have witnessed her in person handling a very high dollar case that went to mediation and her skill set in negotiating as well as her common sense approach to finding resolution were amazing. I could not recommend legal counsel to represent me and my company any higher than Trizia, she finds ways to get things done for her clients."
